McHigh-Rise

Published by Brent at 3:31 pm under chicago

I don’t understand the appeal of Streeterville

Streeterville is full of wandering tourists that think they are “downtown”, large slabs of concrete sidewalks lined with minimal tree coverage, no quaint neighborhood stores and worst of all, proximity to Navy Pier. There are no quaint areas, places to sit on the street and have wine with your Trixie, no shops to take Trixie shopping at for shoes or even a nice park like Oz Park.

Why would people want to live in just another high-rise development? I would rather blow my $600,000+ on a place in Lincoln Park.
