Kinkade’s Phenomenon
The following diagram represents what is known as the Kinkade’s Phenomenon. This is where a gaggle of Trixies sit around a bar table at Kinkade’s and order white wine. After a few minutes, a group of Chads will surround them and order Miller Lite. An unspoken neutral zone forms as a buffer between the two groups.
Within the white wine zone, news of impending sales, designer purses and kiss-and-tell stories from last weekend are exchanged. Within the Miller Lite zone, Chads discuss the big game and attempt to cross the neutral zone in an attempt to hit on a flirty Trixie.
