Goodwin’s, located at 175 N Franklin St, is an excellent place to for lunch. Healthy food, great staff and Diet Coke for Trixie - what else could you ask for? The place fills up fast so the LPCS developed this guide that shows the best time to arrive in order to obtain you food in a timely manner and be able to get a seat.

The best time to arrive is between 12:00 and 12:15 PM. If you arrive after 12:30 PM, it will be difficult to get a seat. You may have to have Trixie scout out a seat while you order a Santa Fe tortilla wrap for her.

The following diagram represents what is known as the Kinkade’s Phenomenon. This is where a gaggle of Trixies sit around a bar table at Kinkade’s and order white wine. After a few minutes, a group of Chads will surround them and order Miller Lite. An unspoken neutral zone forms as a buffer between the two groups.
Within the white wine zone, news of impending sales, designer purses and kiss-and-tell stories from last weekend are exchanged. Within the Miller Lite zone, Chads discuss the big game and attempt to cross the neutral zone in an attempt to hit on a flirty Trixie.

Corner Bakery in Highland Park is the perfect place to observe a failed version of the Lincoln Park Trixie. Every afternoon, while their husbands are out being rich and trading money, the Highland Park mom brings her brat children to Corner Bakery since she lacks in baking skills and can use her husband’s income to buy lunch. While conversing with her neighborhood friend, her children run rampant around the facility. They snack on macaroni or grilled cheese while the mothers gossip and discuss plans to “go back to school” and “get involved more” with groups such as the PTA or neighborhood association.

Trixies beware! Falling ice can fall from vintage buildings on Armitage and knock your designer oversized black sunglasses from your head during this above freezing heat wave.
